Alyssa Protsman recently joined the National Wellness Institute (NWI) as the Manager of Communications and Engagement.
In her role, Alyssa brings her subject matter expertise in wellness management with an extensive background in strategic communications, member engagement, and content marketing. “Alyssa’s leadership in our engagement and content areas will significantly contribute to the already rapid growth and expansion of NWI as the worldwide voice of the wellness community.” States NWI’s CEO, Chuck Gillespie.
In her most recent position, Alyssa directed wellness management initiatives and virtual engagement for a Midwest SaaS firm that serves corporate, coaching, and clinical populations. Alyssa also serves as an entrepreneur acting as a consultant and connecting employers with teambuilding solutions that drive employee health, leadership, and growth.

Alyssa received her master’s certificate of business and masters of science in wellness management from the Fisher Institute for Wellness and Gerontology at Ball State University in 2016. Outside of her professional life, her interests include yoga, cooking, and getting outside with her two boys.
Alyssa will be instrumental in enhancing NWI’s relationships with its audience and industry partners to deliver a world class experience in the rapidly changing landscape of the wellness profession.
